This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Edwardian Black Bodice
From the seller:
Up for auction is this museum de-accessioned antique Victorian beaded black jacquard and creme bow dress bodice. This bodice has black beading on the front and wrists.. Hook and eye closures. Wearable if you can fit into it- this is extremely small. This would also make an excellent display piece. Please Note: Hook missing for eyes at back of neck so I pinned part of the collar as shown. Overall good condition.
Measurements
Measurements are taken in
inches while item is laid flat
Length: 18.00 inches
Chest: 13.00 inches
Waist: 10.00 inches
From Me:
These measurements seem off to me but eh. It is probably a young miss bodice. The pigeon front makes this a lovely Turn of the Century piece.
