From the seller:
A dainty early 1820’s embroidered muslin day cap. The front brim and back crown areas are embroidered with white leaves and swirls. The cap has muslin chin ties and a drawstring closure at the back neckline. The cap is in good and sturdy condition. There is one pencil tip size hole and some scattered age spotting.
From Me:
About a decade older than the seller believes, at least.
