1920's Beaded Dress

From the seller:

Offering a stunning vintage dress from the 1920's It is a unique shade of pink crepe with rows of hand sewn beading. There are some condition issues with the typical shoulder tears. The drop waist also has and inner band to help support the weight of the beads but there is wear and some tears along the band. There are some beads missing with a bag of extra beads included with the dress. It is tagged Made in France with no color fade. So pretty and worthy of restoration or for study!

Late Edwardian Summer Dress

From the seller:

Authentic Antique Edwardian Lace and Cotton Day Dress with gorgeous details. Beautiful handmade lace, chevron style design in the lace over collar, large rosette style lace panels running down the front, flattering pin tucks, a fine semi sheer white cotton. Fastens up the back with handmade crocheted buttons and hook and eye. ¾ length sleeves edged in lace. A line skirt. Dress is in excellent antique condition. The cotton is strong and supple and the lace untorn and whole. There are a few minute flaws: one eighth of an inch hole in the front and two 16th of an inch holes in the front left side of the skirt (see photos), a few very pale stains of the same size lower down near the hem. Otherwise the dress is in near mint condition for it’s age. Has been laundered and is ready to wear.

The shape of the neckline and the way it's gathered at the waist make me think this is about 1907/1908.

Simple but Lovely Linen Teen's Era Dress

From the seller:

Lovely 1900's Edwardian gown in satin and fine thin wool. Front panel on skirt has moth damage, and you need a sliding snap on back of neck, but dress is very strong and wearable, great restoration, study or pattern.
Bust 34" Waist 20" Hip 40" length 57"

From Me:

1914 Fashion Plate

The bodice still hasn't fallen to the natural waistline and the skirt is also pretty thin. By 1915, the skirt fills out a lot and the bodice drops a bit more. In a couple of years, the bodice will start to drop below the natural waistline.

Cute Pink 1920's Dress with Lace Inserts

From the seller:

1920s Coral Silk Chiffon Dress with exquisite tan lace inserts. The sleeveless dress has drop waist and full gathered skirt. Dress has pull over the head styling.

Size: Small - It fit snug on my size 2-4 mannequin. Please go by garment measurements:

Bust measured underarm to underarm - 34"
Drop Waist (10.5" down from underarm) - 33"
Hips - full
Length shoulder seam to bottom hem - 41"

Condition: Overall very good antique condition - noted some light soil. There is a pull under one arm and underarm staining on both - see last image

From Me:

Notice the snaps under the arm - not all 1920's dresses were meant to simply go over the head.

Early 1930's Blue and White Dress

From the seller:

This is so gorgeous! I bought this in a vintage clothing store in the mid-1980's and only wore it a couple times. It has been in storage in a climate-controlled, acid-free environment since about 1988. This is in pristine condition for its age. The sleeves fluff out and it is such wonderful classic 1930's lines.

This is truly an incredible find! It has been very well preserved and cared for. It is approximately a size 6. I don't sew, and am hesitant to post measurements as I don't do those very well.

Please ask any questions before bidding. Remember that pictures are part of the description, and that with any vintage item, it is not brand new. Thank you.
On Aug-21-16 at 12:57:03 PDT, seller added the following information:
Thanks for all the info and inquires! This is called a flutter sleeve and the pattern is a diamond crosshatch. Per the inquiries I've received, I am adding a picture of a little discoloration on the skirt which are very hard to see with the pattern, and measurements below. Good luck!

The details on this are just fantastic - like the ends of the belt are plain turquoise fabric to bring out the color. So lovely.

Flutter sleeves were a big fad in the 1930s.
