From the seller:

DATING TO THE VICTORIAN 19TH C

FASHIONED OF A BROWN COTTON FABRIC WITH A RICH ROSE PRINT

BUTTONS CLOSED IN THE FRONT WITH LACE TRIMMING THE COLLAR AND CUFFS

FULL BUSTLE BACK, SIDES GATHERED WITH RICH POLONAISE EFFECT, FALLS LONG IN CENTER REAR

MINOR FADE UNDER THE ARMS THAT IS UNSEEN, A FULL NEW SET OF BUTTONS NEEDED

STRONG AND WEARABLE, EXCELLENT CONDITION

MEASUREMENTS IN INCHES:
BUST: 34
WAIST: 26
LENGTH: 56 IN REAR

From Me:

I love this style. This would be an everyday day dress. Can you imagine it with a pink cotton underskirt?

This style was popular throughout the entire Bustle and Natural Form periods. However, the higher neckline and some of the cut makes it look like more 1880's than 1870's as a possible date.

Pink Teen's Era Bathing Boots!

From the seller:

FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION OF ANTIQUE SHOES

DATE: C1915
ORIGIN: AMERICAN
FABRIC: COTTON
CONDITION: STRUCTURALLY GOOD WITH NO GOLES OR RIPS, BUT SOME WATER DAMAGE TO COLOR AND SOME STAINS

I HAVE NEVER SEEN "PINK" !!
USUALLY BLACK OR WHTE, I HAVE EVEN SEEN RED AND THEY ARE ON DISPLAY IN A MUSEUM !

THIS IS A WONDERFUL EXAMPLE OF EARLY 20TH CENTURY BATHING SHOES, THEY ARE OF A PALE PINK COTTON, SOMEWHAT WATERED LOOK TO THE COLOR, OVER TIME THE DYE RAN ~ MORE PALE OR SATURATED IN AREAS
HAS SOME RUST SPOTS FROM STORAGE
EYELETS WITH WHITE LACES ~ SME CORROSION
CANVAS SOLE, SOME OLD MILDEWED SPOTS (SURELY HAPPENED YEARS AGO)

THERE ARE STAMPED NUMBERS INSIDE 6 4404
BUT, THESE LOOK BIGGER THAN A 6 ! I WEAR A 7.5 AND PLACED NEXT TO MY FOOT THESE ARE BIGGER ~

THEY ARE HIGHLY COLLECTABLE
MEASURMENTS ARE:
9.5" TOE TO HEEL
6.5" TOP ANKLE TO BOTTOM HEEL
3" WIDE

From Me:

Similar overall to these in the LACMA collection. I'd put anywhere from 1910-1915.

Easter Egg Beading on 1920's Cream Dress

From the seller:

THIS DRESS IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS, HOWEVER IT IS VERY FRAGILE AND POSSIBLY NOT WEARABLE. THIS IS A RARE 2 PIECE DRESS, MANY FLAPPER DRESSES HAVE LOST THEIR UNDER SLIP. THE SLIP IS BEADED AT THE SCALLOPS ON THE BOTTOM. THIS DRESS IS SILK AND THE CONDITION IS GOOD BUT FRAGILE, THERE IS SOME SMALL HOLES AND A LITTLE SHATTER, BUT I HAVE BEEN TREATING WITH KIDD GLOVES. MY PICTURES DO NOT DO THIS JUSTICE, THERE ARE PANELS ON THE MAIN DRESS THAT ARE BEAUTIFULLY BEADED. I AM HAPPY TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS. I WILL ONLY SHIP TO THE USA AND OUTSIDE USE EBAY GLOBAL SHIPPING. AGAIN, WHILE THIS DRESS IS INTACT AND THE BEADING IS IN GOOD CONDITION, ANY TENSION PUT ON THE FABRIC(SILK CREPE) COULD CAUSE DAMAGE. THIS WOULD BE BEST FOR DISPLAY.

From Me:

I really couldn't think of a way to describe the beading other than easter eggs. This dress with pink bunny ears will be my new Harvey.

1830's Brocade Dress

From the seller:

Thanks for looking at this stunning ladies day dress.
• international buyers this dress will be shipped through global shipping. I can control pricing so please bid accordingly, thank you
• this dress is very stunning with the fabric of feeling of silk. I am not an expert on fabric but it feels very silky.
• The top is off the shoulders and has I think you call it piping around and at the mid point there is tuffing and then they tapper off at the bottom.
• The dress may have a pin hole here or there and maybe some dirt? but very very lovely. I have not cleaned or pressed it.
• The closures are at thread type eye and a hook, with two string ties at the waist with hook and eye. The same closures are on the front bust area.
• The underside lining needs a few stitches it looks like but by no means is it distracting to this dress.
• please see all pictures and ask questions as there is no refunds or returns. Please keep watching.

From Me:

It looks like there have been some later "fixes" or alterations, however, overall, the dress looks pretty much like it would have back in 1836/1837. It reminds me a bit of this dress.

Sweet silk bodice dating to the late 19thc. Nicely made with cute details, pleats and buttons. In as found condition with tiny splits to the silk appearing thruout. Not for wear damaged for salvage or design only..

Sweet Baby Blue Tulle/Netting 1930's Dress

From the seller:

Aqua netting 30s party dress. Amazing full skirt. Pink velvet bows on sleeves. Ruching at shoulders. Side snap closure.

Flaws: Large rip on bust and left sleeve, and smaller holes throughout. The ruffle hem is discolored and there are some rust colored spots on the skirt. Skirt was hand-stitched to bodice and that stitching needs to be redone.

Bust: 31
Waist: 26
Hips: free

See my other listings for more vintage clothes that I'm clearing out.

From Me:

Probably for a tween/teenager based on the measurements. Very cute!

...And does anyone else think Sweet Baby Blue would be an awesome modern country band name? Maybe it's just because it's way too late/too early. I should call up my brothers and see if we can start a band. ;-)
