From Me:
I love this style. This would be an everyday day dress. Can you imagine it with a pink cotton underskirt?
This style was popular throughout the entire Bustle and Natural Form periods. However, the higher neckline and some of the cut makes it look like more 1880's than 1870's as a possible date.

My all-time-favorite style! Love this dress. :-)
ReplyDeleteIt's just fun. :-D
DeleteI started adding Victorian sleeves to jackets and blouses that I make for everyday wear and get lots of compliments. Now I add them to everything and use lots of peplums, bustles and tailoring every chance I get. Its a way of life so much now that Ive started selling on a small scale. Thank you for the endless inspiration. http://lavoieboho.weebly.com
