This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Teens Era Blouse
From the seller:
Gorgeous high-neck Victorian blouse of black lace over cream net, with a fine cotton lawn lining. Fantastic details like the lacy sleeve flares, the jet-glass beads, the deep V bodice the pleated and ruffled cuffs with little satin bowed bands... This blouse is a delight, and even better, its totally wearable and doesn't require a Scarlett O'Hara waistline!
All measurements taken flat, please double if applicable!
:width-shoulder 16.5"
:length-sleeve 17" (armpit to cuff)
:length-garment 15" (measured down center back)
:width-bust 21"
:width-waist 16"
Condition: Several snags to lace. 3 of the 4 Collar stays are split in half. Minor very even discoloration to net. Hand and machine stitched. Eyelets, top and bottom missing/replaceable.
From Me:
This looks to be late 1900's/early 1910's with a slight edge on the teens era side. I just love the look of this blouse with the hints of lace and the cute little faux button front.
