This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Droolable 1860's Gloves
From the seller:
A unique pair of 1860’s tan suede gauntlet styled gloves. The gloves are embroidered with mauve and pink flowers and gold and green leaves. They have blue silk side lacing ties. The inside of the top is lined with blue silk. The gloves are in good condition. They are soiled do to normal use, especially on the fingers. (See photos.) This style is rarely seen on the open market. Length 11 inches Width across palm 3 ½ inches.
From Me:
OMG! If I had $500 to spend randomly, it would have been on these. I love everything about them. The super cute side lacing, the color, the embroidery - they are perfect!
