This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Edwardian Floral Bodice
From the seller:
Up for auction is this museum de-accessioned antique Victorian floral warp print beaded dress bodice. This bodice is trimmed with black applique beading and velvet. Faceted black buttons at waist. Very Good Condition! Don't miss this!
Measurements
Measurements are taken in
inches while item is laid flat
Length: 16.00 inches
Chest: 16.00 inches
Waist: 12.50 inches
From Me:
This one is Edwardian, not Victorian. The sleeves (sheer on bottom, fitted at the top), the bodice front (see that pleating?), and details (those straps over the shoulders are so late 1900's/early 1910's) are all very common in the late 1900's.
