This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

1920's Wedding Veil
From the seller:
This vintage white net lace silk ribbon bridal bonnet cap headpiece wedding veil dates from the 1920s. It is made of a sheer white net fabric, with decorative white stitching along the bottom hem. There is cream silk ribbon ruched gathering trim around the cap, with rosette ribbon trim on the sides and tiny lily of the valley flowers. This beautiful bridal flapper wedding headpiece has a fitted bonnet cap style with ruched tucks gathers along the top and a long net veil hanging down the back. The cap measures 27 inches in circumference and the net veil measures 43 inches long, 43 inches wide. It is in excellent condition. This wonderful wedding bridal veil headpiece is a beautiful one of a kind piece of antique textile art!
From Me:
Easily either teens or 20's as the veil style stayed around for a couple of decades.
