This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Pretty in Pink Sheer 1930's Dress
From the seller:
Here is a 1930s pink sheer chiffon dress with a lovely flower. We do not have the original slip. Issues include pinholes and small holes, a split side seam, loosening of snaps, and weakening of the fabric. Other signs of age and use may be present. Please note - due to the lighting in the store the exact shade of color may not show - often our pictures display lighter than the item appears in person. We are selling this AS FOUND - we have not laundered or repaired it in any way.
We have taken a lot of pictures of this stunning dress, so please check them out as they are part of the description! They say a picture is worth a thousand words! This dress is truly a one in a lifetime piece!
Measurements:
Shoulders - 14.5 inches across
Bust - 34 inches
Waist - 28 inches
Hips - 35 inches
Length - 51.5 inches
Sweep -52 inches
From Me:
You know what I love about this dress? The hem. Why? Because it looks just as atrocious as my rolled hems look. No straight lines for me!!!
