Late Edwardian Lace Dress

From the seller:

The dress measures approx. 56 inches from the top of the neck to the bottom of the skirt when I lay it out on a table. The skirt measures approx 55 inches from side to side, which would give it an approx circumference of 110 inches. From the shoulder to the wrist it is approx 23 inches, and from shoulder to shoulder approx 19 inches. The mid line of horizontal lace is approx 12-13 inches across, so about a 26 inch or so waist, and the material has some give so may push to 27-28" or more. OWNER HAS AGREED TO A NO RESERVE AUCTION FOR THIS STUNNING DRESS! SOMEONE WILL WIN THIS GORGEOUS ANTIQUE WEDDING DRESS... This Victorian era antique wedding dress COMES WITH a VINTAGE VICTORIAN PHOTOGRAPH of the bride, Elizabeth A. (Palmer) Buddenbrock of Trinidad, Colorado, with provenance from her daughter's obituary on a small newspaper clipping on the back of the photo. The original real photo of this Victorian/Edwardian bride on her wedding day comes in an antique ART NOUVEAU Tiffany style bronzed frame that retains over 98% of its original green patina! The frame is also numbered on the back, either "767" or "967", and it has all of its original bronze tightening screws and fasteners to keep the photo in place. The frame itself is quite rare and worth several hundred dollars! These are original heirloom pieces that have been lovingly stored by this prominent family for decades. BID WITH CONFIDENCE; this dress would make a great addition to any period clothing collection or museum. The living granddaughter of this beautiful Victorian bride writes: "Wedding dress was my grandmother's, Elizabeth Palmer, who married Charles Buddenbrock and lived in Trinidad, Colorado. My mother, Dorothy Buddenbrock Williamson (Los Angeles, CA), was their oldest daughter. She and Elizabeth Buddenbrock McKennon their youngest daughter lived in Little Rock, AR." *Please note that we do not sell or ship internationally, and that we have 100% positive feedback. All of our items are sold as photographed, and we welcome any questions before the auction ends. GOOD LUCK, and thank you for viewing our auctions!

Hello again, what is an approximate age of the dress? Thank you
A: Dress is approx. from 1890-1910. I will check with the owner, as I believe she has the exact wedding date of her great-grandmother in her records. Thank you for your inquiry, and best wishes if you decide to bid! : )

From Me:

Dearest Sellers,
I have said this time and time again but some of you still are not getting it. White =/= Wedding! I'm not sure why anyone would think this is a wedding dress... It's also not Victorian. Also, if she was getting her photo on her wedding day, don't you think she'd have the groom in the photo?

Logic escapes far too many.
No love,
Me
