Vintage 1930s Black Rayon Blue Velvet Trim Bias Cut Maxi Dress Rouching Gown Vtg

Lovely vintage 1930s black textured rayon, maxi full length gown. With blue velvet trim. Rouching along the bodice. Bias cut skirt. With an attached belt that ties in the back to fit you perfectly. Lots of movement. Fitted bodice. Cap sleeves with slight ruffle. Fastens with snap buttons up the back. In overall great vintage condition. Velvet has almost rubbed off completely. Missing all of the buttons on the back. I have pinned it. A few small surface stains. Please see photos.

It looks like a pretty basic 1930's dress until you look at some of the more detailed photos. Check out the side gores as well as the front gathers.
