From the seller:
Vintage 1920s Sheer Cream Silk Dress
Bust measures approx 32 inches, waist approx 27 inches. Length shoulder to hem approx 44 inches. The silk is stretchy.
Amazing detailing. Fastens at the side with wide hooks that have obviously been added at a later time.
Great condition. Some small marks on examination which may come out with cleaning- I haven't tried to clean it.

I think the dress originally looked something more like this fashion plate:

But was changed a couple of years later to better fit the shorter skirt styles of the mid 1920's.
