This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

From the seller:
This is Just a Gorgeous Pale Pink Layered Skirt with Train, Done with several layers of French Crochet Lace, with Pale Pink Ruffles & embroidered flowers covering body of skirt. Complete with a Draw string, Beautifully done & believe it is a Handmade ?? Feels like it is made of a soft Satin Cotton material ?? Good flowing material........ Photo 1 is a good indication of the truest color ( others appear washed out because of camera flash)......... Good to Excellent condition with no holes and only minor stains from being stored over the years & may need to be freshened up, but will leave that up to you You will LOVE This piece in Person
Measurements are as follows......
Overall Length : 38 inches Long in the front & 43 inches Long in Back (Train)
Waist : 19 inches across at widest ( Has draw string.... It will go smaller )
From Me:
I think the drawstring was added at a later time. I have seen drawstring in period pieces before but the way this one is done it looks like a later addition.
