Mid 1860's Blue and Gold Striped Bodice

From the seller:

A visually stunning civil War era Bodice made of mustard and blue striped silk and trends with blue silk rouching. Lined and boned. The bodice hook and eyes up the front and is a combination of hand and early machine stitching. One inch Area under the armpit that needs to be resewn. Very light staining that I had to look hard to see. Overall good vintage condition. Buyer to pay shipping at cost. Please view our other items for more Victorian clothing.

From Me:

1864 Fashion Plate

Most likely 1864/1865; so the tail end of the American Civil War. Of course, when I see blue and gold together, all I can think is "Go Navy! Beat Army!" as that has been ingrained in me since I was a few days old...
