Sweet Blue Gingham Edwardian Dress

From the seller:

Spring is here and it's time to clean out my closet. I've had this dress for years and now it's time that it goes to a new home. I had good intentions of either restoring this dress or at least making a pattern of it, but I just don't seem to have the time. Hopefully there's someone out there who be able to do something with it. The blue and white check silk is actually in pretty good shape, but there is tears under the sleeves and a few scattered hole on both the bodice and skirt. The lace is in tough shape and needs to be replaced. There appeared to be rows of silk trim on the skirt that wore off and there is blue stitching left behind. The lace was trimmed in the same silk and that is in bad shape. The skirt also has many rows of tiny vertical pleats. Someone might be able to restore this dress, but it would probably be best for display, pattern making or to cut up for doll clothes and crafts. I just couldn't bring myself to cut it up.
Bodice:
Bust 36" Waist 26 1/2" Length from back neck to waist 12 3/4"
Skirt:
Waist 26 1/2" Length from waist to hem 42 1/2"

From Me:

This is so cute looking!
