Fabulous Teen's Era High Neck High Fashion Winter Outfit

From the seller:

A high style 1912 Edwardian navy blue velvet suit fresh from a NY estate. The jacket and skirt are trimmed with fur. The jacket has a high neck collar that buttons to the side. The front has a button closure that extends from the neck to the edge of the hemline. The wait has a belt that buttons to the side. All the buttons are covered with navy blue velvet. The jacket is lined with silk. The skirt is unlined. The suit is in very good and sturdy condition. There is no underarm discoloration and no splits or holes in the velvet fabric. The lining in the bodice is missing some and the rest has overall splitting. There is a 2 inch piece of missing fur at the edge of the skirt hemline and some other minor wear to the fur. Shoulders 16 Bust 36 Waist 30 Skirt waist 24 Hips 38 Length 38.

From Me:

1915 Fashion plate from the Bartos Collection
1919 Fashion plate from Vintage Fan Girl

The high neck style was popular really from 1914 to 1919. I think this one is earlier just based on the shape of the neck but it was worn for quite a while as far as fashion goes.
