This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Edwardian Summer Blouse
From the seller:
Antique Victorian Handmade Lace Embroidered Sheer Woman's Blouse in Good Used Condition. A little TLC will be required to bring this blouse back to it's original beauty. There are 4 snags, 3 on the front right hand side at the neck and just below the neck and one on the left hand shoulder area-please see pictures. There are a couple of buttons missing in the back. There is a small light brown stain on the back just below the right hand shoulder The blouse measures 16" across the top from top of sleeve to top of sleeve/21" from the top center of the neck don to the bottom/20" across the front from under the arm pit over/sleeves measure 21" long and 4 1/4" wide on the outside. The sleeves are lined. There are no bad odors and the color appears to me to be evenly white with some ivory accents. A very pretty antique blouse.
From Me:
Not Victorian. Notice the way the blouse is gathered in the front to puff out at the waist? Very much an Edwardian style.
