This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Titanic Era Orange, Pink, & Blue Dress
From the seller:
A striking 1912 Edwardian pink net lace, blue chiffon and orange satin evening dress that has recently been de-accessioned from a museum collection. The bodice is trimmed with lace and wide bands of orange satin. The orange satin fabric has an overlay of gold metallic embroidery. The bodice is lined with a layer of net lace. It was also lined with white silk but there are only remnants remaining. The skirt front has a wide panel of gold embroidery metallic lace. The skirt has pink net fabric laid over blue chiffon. The skirt has a long fishtail styled train. The edge of the train is trimmed with a large orange satin bow. The dress has a back hook, loop and snap closure. It is in very good condition. There are no splits or holes in the fabrics. There is a slight line of barely visible underarm discoloration and light soiling on the edge of the hemline. The original belt is missing and the lack velvet belt is for display purposes only. The belt is not included. A very beautiful display dress. Bust 32 Waist 24 Front skirt length 44 Back length 56.
From Me:
This looks like something I need to wear while sipping tropical drinks! I *love* it!
