This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Blue 1920's Beaded Day Dress
From the seller:
This pretty flapper dress is made from a medium blue silk chiffon. It snaps on the side seam and has appliqued flowers and birds an dis beaded with large white seed beads and clear beads. It's a little dirty at the back of the neck, shoulder and neckline faded as well as down one side on the seam of the bodice and into the skirt, bead loss a pin head hole by the shoulder seam. The fabric itself is sturdy. It measures 34 inches around the bust, waist is 31, hips are full and it's 42 1/2 inches long. As is due to the fade.
From Me:
This would be the perfect garden tea dress....
