This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Black Net Edwardian Lace Blouse and Velvet Hat

Up for your consideration is this very special Netted Lace in Black Victorian Blouse with Camisole underneath.....Also included is this authentic Victorian Velvet and Silk Hat...Was part of a costume in estate with several well preserved antique dress...This blouse caught my eye as came with Hat ...Have shown front, back and sleeves...Blouse is a small size 6-8 and has measurements of 14.5" from underarm to sleeve...is 18.5" across from under armpit to armpit and from neck top shoulder to front is 19"....Is very special and has no holes or staining or odor....HAT is likewise as nice with silk ribbons for tieing under chin and Velvet all here and very nice...Feel free to ask questions..Camisole is included and is as shown beige and goes under the blouse

To me, this looks like it might have been cut off a dress. I'm really not sure. I have a similar styled dress from the 1910's.
