This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Pink 1890's Dress
From the seller:
Beautiful Victorian Era two-piece pink silk gown with ecru lace decoration and a little self-fabric rosette-like decoration on the upper portion of the bodice and sleeves.
This gown is being sold "As Is" as there is a good bit of shredding - the bodice being in worse condition than the skirt.
Even with the damage, this gown will still display beautifully.
Be sure to check my other listings for more wonderful vintage items.
I am always happy to combine shipping. Payment is expected within 3 days of auction end.
From Me:
The bodice on this dress is still lovely despite the clear damage to the dress overall. I love the lace on this gown and the puffy sleeves of DOOM!!!
