This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. Jaw Dropping Detailed 1880's Bustle Gown

This is a Beautiful Antique 1880's 2 Piece Wedding Dress & has the appearance of being Handmade, which makes it a "ONE OF A KIND BEAUTY" Made of a Fine Silk with fine details with lots of Ruffles, Fabric covered buttons, Open cut & Tied sleeves, Long Train with tufting & Delicate ballooning.
Complete with all intact buttons & wire Hooks/ snaps. Hard to pick up all the details in this Off White/ Ecru dress, ( Photo 2 is a Good representation of true color ) I have included lots of Photo's but willing to send more on request...... Excellent Condition and recently professionally Cleaned, No Stains, minor pulls at seams and may need some minor sewing, but very minor sewing.

A part of me thinks this is actually a VERY good reproduction but it's so lovely, and very well could be 1880's, that I have to list it.
