This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Early Edwardian Dress
From the seller:
An elegant 1900-1912 cinnamon silk dress. The bodice, and skirt are decorated with cinnamon silk braiding. The bodice has a high neck lace insert. The sleeves are ruched and have rows of pin tucking. The dress is fully lined with cotton and has a front hook and eye closure. The dress is in good condition. There is no underarm discoloration and no age marks. There is a 3 ½ inch repair and a 1 inch split on the lower edge of the skirt front. Antique clothing is for display/collecting and should not be worn. Bust 32 Waist 24 Skirt length 42.
From Me:
Most likely about 1901/1902. The fitted sleeves were popular at the Turn of the Century.
