This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Pink and White Lace 1920's Dress
From the seller:
A beautiful Art Deco flapper era dress
A pink chiffon in two layers with lace panels running the length both back and front
A small size - these dresses are meant to be worn loose and sort of float
Measurements taken when lying flat:
From the neckline to the hem is 43 inches (109 cm)
30 inches across the armpits (15 doubled) (76 cm)
42 inch waist (107 cm)
pleated a bit so the hemline ruffles out to be very full
There are problems with the armpits - sweat stains and some tearing
Some tearing to the lace on the neck edge by the shoulder
one small stain to the rear of the inner panel - does not penetrate the outer dress
One small opening to a seam
please see the pictures
From Me:
I think I know what I want to do as an Easter dress this year now...
