This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

A cute little Witch!
From the seller:
Shoulders measure, straight across from cap sleeve to tip of cap sleeve, 22". Bust, straight across at underarms is 20" (40" circumference), waist is 21", double this also, 34" from shoulder to hemline and cap sleeves measure just over 6", straight across for a circumference of 12". Last photo shows the German Dresden scraps that will be included in this auction. I will include 12 of the witches for the buyer to use as desired, either for another project or to add to / replace the torn Halloween diecuts.
This original black & orange Halloween costume / dress is being auctioned "as is", I do not accept returns. Please request additional photos or information if needed to make a proper decision prior to placing your bid. Be sure to check the measurements against a garment that fits you well. You must be smaller than the above measurements to ensure a proper fit. Thank you!
From Me:
I think this is actually early 1930's, rather than 1920's. Very cute either way!
