Soft Yellow 1890's Ball Gown

From the seller:

A delightful 1985 sunny yellow silk faille evening dress that has a New York City label. The label reads Mrs. E Boulphin, 206 West 24th Street.

The bodice has full leg of mutton style sleeves. The bodice is decorated with yellow chiffon and bands of beading. The beading is white, yellow blue, pink and tiny gold bugle beads. The bodice is lined with yellow silk and has a front hook and eye closure. The skirt is lined with buckram and yellow silk. The gown is in very good and clean condition. There is no underarm discoloration, splits or holes. The gown is a small size and might have been worn by a young debutant. Bust 30 Waist 22 Skirt length 40 ½.
