This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Edwardian White Summer Dress
From the seller:
Another gorgeous vintage dress. All cotton antique eyelet and cut lace. Hook and eye closure throughout. Lots of detail as shown. No damage or tears, just overall, usual aging. May require a stitch or two to tighten an eyelet or so but not really necessary. Only note one visible freckle spot. Measures lying flat:
bust 28
waist 23
hips 36
length 50
From Me:
Most likely a young miss dress based on the measurements. The higher waistline means we are seeing something from between 1908-1913. The high neckline but without a collar means this is probably from about 1909.
