This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

American Revolution Men's Waistcoat
From the seller:
Circa 18THC. Part of a museum deaccession of men's clothing.. Fine Polychrome Beauvais embroidery on the collar down each side and a more full and ornate design on lower edges and pockets with scattered small florets.
Item Measurements:
Apprx. 25" down the front..8 1/2" across each front at chest13" around neckline
Item condition:
In good strong condiiton, silk is strong, some scattered age related stains and openings on seam of linen back.Buttons have some missing silk..All items we list need to be cleaned.
