Early 1930's Dress

From the seller:

This dress was previously auctioned but the buyer never paid, it was not returned.

Love this dress! Brown and white patterned rayon with very nice lace attached at sleeves and collar.

Does have a few repairs and staining. The busy pattern helps to hide them. There are a few tears on the lace.

Would be great for study, repair or stage costume.

Please see all the images and don’t hesitate to ask questions.

Bust: 38”

Waist: 34”

Hips: 42”

Length: 44 ½”

From Me:

1931 Patterns via Witness 2 Fashion

The belt is really the give away along with the pointed cut dropped waistline. The belt would have been worn at the natural waistline although the dress still had the fullness of the skirt at the hip point.
