This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Cute! 1930's Mint Green Dress
From the seller:
A very stylish original circa 1930's lady's mint green rayon satin bias cut gown with a fashionable Empire waist, a ruched collar, puff sleeves, a self fabric button and pleated accent at the front, with a slit back having a rhinestone closure at the neckline. 15" from shoulder to shoulder, a 36" bust, 28" waist and 58" from shoulder to front hem. This dress includes a matching self fabric belt that is not shown. In sound as found condition, with some minor scuffs and tiny age flaws, and minor perspiration to the armscyes that do not show. A light organic drip above the front hem. All is reflected in the reserve price for this darling circa 1930's gown.
From Me:
I love the look of this dress. Very classy.
