This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Swiss Dot Victorian Blouse
From the seller:
fetching 1895 white dotted cotton blouse. There is a name tag on the hemline indicating it was original worn by Annette Young. The blouse has a high neck collar and full leg of mutton style sleeves. It is trimmed with inserts of Val lace. The blouse is unlined and has a back button closure. The close fitting sleeve cuffs have a button and loop closure. The blouse is in very good condition. It has not been cleaned so there is some minor age spotting. Bust 35 Waist 24 ½
From Me:
I almost want to say this is later because the sleeves don't go "up" and they are fuller at the bottom - which was popular into the early Edwardian era. However, this style was worn in the 1890's.
