Late 1860's Striped Dress

From the seller:

A charming 1860’s dark mauve and pink stripe cotton and challis fabric dress. The sleeves have a puffed top and are trimmed with thin bands of black velvet ribbon. The neckline is trimmed with an attached white cotton eyelet collar that is original to the dress. The bodice is lined with cotton and has a front hook and eye closure. The black jet buttons are decorative. The Neck, armscyes and waist are all piped. The skirt hemline is trimmed with black velvet ribbon. The skirt is unlined except for a wide band of cotton at the edge of the hemline. The dress is in good and sturdy condition. There are scattered small holes and thin spots in the skirt fabric that are only noticeable when held up to the light. There is no underarm discoloration. Bust 34 Waist 26 Skirt length 43 Width at hemline 126.
