This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

1920's clouche with neat ribbon detail
From the seller:
This auction features a fantastic flapper's cloche hat from the 1920's. The circumfrence is 23 or 24 inches, it fits my 22 inch head comfortably. Fantastic condition, extremely clean, very flexible, no fading, no tears or rips, just incredible! Market-fresh estate piece, recently purchased. Feel free to message me with any questions, thanks for looking!
From Me:
What caught my eye was the two tone ribbon and how it's just coiled loosely and sewn down to give that dimension to the flowers.
