This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

QUALITY COLLECTORS ALONG WITH VINTAGE CLOTHING LACE AND TEXTILES DOLLS AND TOYS .. ALONG WITH A RETIRED DEALERS INVENTORY SHE WAS A PACK RAT
ALONG WITH FRESH TO THE MARKET MUSEUM DEACCESSION PIECES
THIS AUCTION: FROM A MUSEUM DEACCESSION - INCREDIBLE DETAIL ... CAN ALSO BE USED FOR DOLL CLOTHING PARTS TINY PINK FLOWERS CHIFFON LOTS OF SEQUINS AND 20 TINY BLACK COVERED BUTTONS ON SLEEVES .. OTHER PIECES FROM THE DEACCESSION LISTED
From Me:
It makes me sick to think anyone could *possibly* think this could be used for doll clothing. We do not destroy antique things, people! If it survived for 120 years and was in a museum, it means it has value. Would you paint over a Monet just because it got deaccessioned?
