Lovely 1930's Black and White Bias Cut Sheer Gown

From the seller:

Stunning silk chiffon vintage 1930s bias cut gown. Imagine yourself walking down the red carpet (or aisle) in this fabulous vintage gown - this dress will steal the show! Made of a beautifully light and sheer silk chiffon, this dress has an amazing cut to it. The seams start on the hips and drape all the way down to the floor opening to a full and layered skirt. The v-neckline is featured on both the front and back of the dress and has a contrasting black chiffon collar. If you are looking for an Old Hollywood gown to stun the crowd - then this is the one for you! Could also definitely be worn as a wedding dress.

Size: 6/8. The mannequin pictured here is a size 6.
Because of the bias cut of this dress, it could fit a Small and a Medium beautifully.

Measurements:
Bust: 34"
Waist: 28"
Hips: 36-40"

Fabric/Construction: Snap closure on the left side seam.
Silk Chiffon

Era: 1930s, True Vintage.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition with minimal/light wear. There are a few small age spots on the bottom of the skirt. Also there is a light small perspiration stain underneath the right armpit. This may come out with dry cleaning. Other than that- no holes or tears.

From Me:

I'm sure the dress is a bit later than 1930 - I'm thinking 1932 or even later. The bias cut was very popular during the 1930's.
