All The Pretty Dresses

This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. stunning victorian jacket.
label/maker: unknown

condition: good to great condition. missing beading and strands (upper right). soiled finish on beads. spot in lining. medium to heavy weight construction. see photographs for additional details.

bust: 32"-34" flat/pulled
waist: 24"

length: 19"
shoulder to waist: na"
sleeve length: 24"

If the sleeves didn't give it away, this is very much a mid 1890's bodice.

I know the bustle eras seem to be in favor, but I do love the 1890s :-)
