This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

1860's Teal Hat
From the seller:
A museum de-accessioned 1860’s blue silk bonnet. The bonnet is decorated with tear drop beading along the outer edges. The bonnet is trimmed with blue silk ribbon and has blue silk chin ties. It is lined with black cotton. The bonnet is in good condition. There are no splits in the silk. There is scattered age soiling on the ribbon trim and on the chin ties. There are a few missing beads
From Me:
I don't always post hats but when I do it's because they are teal! I love teal!
