This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Summer Lace Teen's Era Dress
From the seller:
A stunning vintage piece, Following, ethereal , Fine delicate tatted laces, So many pretty details. I found this down in an attic at an estate. Estate had items clothings from Victorian 50s. All the lace and buttons look Victorian but I am Unsure if This was sewn a little later with Victorian materials or constructed at the turn of the century. It is really striking long with fitted and puffed sleeves and beautiful neckline. Please look at all the pictures for closer views of tatted laces, sheer panels, embroidery, delicate netted lace, tiny buttons at the back etc. Measures 50.5" long/15.5" pit-pit/14 sleeve/12.5 waist(Taken flat so double) Over all nice shape, slightest discolor at underarm(didn't pic. Well), small hole towards back side lower (last pic) and 1" starting to open at front seam. Gorgeous down Very delicate.
From Me:
Probably about 1911/1912 based on the styling. Love the embroidery!
