This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Early Edwardian Bodice
From the seller:
Here is a Victorian blouse. Measures about 21" from collar to hem, the sleeves are about 13" long. It is about 28" at the chest and 23" at the waist. In the back it is about 3" long and it is a little over 11 1/2" across the back from sleeve seam to seam. The lining is visible thru the sheer parts of the fabric, it has some minor damage but we are not seeing any big damaged areas or issues, a piece needs to be stitched down in the top area and at the cuffs a bit.
From Me:
Really, for this one, it's all about that collar.
Probably about 1904 or so. The three quarter sleeves and the shape of the collar give away the date.
