From the seller:
Deep forest green silk ladies modest day dress dating to 1840s. Found in New Hampshire all hand sewn with pleat fan front with piped seams at waist and armholes, with cap sleeve tapered with gathers to fit elbows. Back hook and eye, bodice lined and deep interfacing at hem. Excellent antique condition as found with just a couple few small pindot holes. Chest 32", waist 22" length 52" sleeve 20".

It's really the color of this otherwise simple dress that is breathtaking. The fan front is a dead giveaway for 1840's but so are those cap sleeve like things over the long sleeves.
