This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Early Teen's Era Evening Gown
From the seller:
An elegant 1912 Titanic era beaded black satin and embroidered evening dress. The label reads Costello, Syracuse, N.Y. The front and back of the bodice are embroidered with black flowers. The bodice has beaded lace and chiffon under sleeves and a swag beaded net overlay. The swag and under sleeves are trimmed with black silk fringe. The back of the dress is trained and has two long back streamers. The dress is lined with black silk and has a back hook and eye closure. It is in excellent and sturdy condition. There are no splits or holes in the fabric. There is no underarm discoloration. Bust 32 Waist 28 Front skirt length 43 back length 48.
From Me:
Probably about 1912/1913. The rose pattern was very popular in the early Teen's era.
