Burgundy 1880's Bustle Outfit

From the seller:

An elegant 1880’s burgundy silk and velvet bustle dress that has been de-accessioned from a museum collection. The cataloging tag is inside the bodice. The surname of Hayes is also inside the bodice. The bodice has an attached front dickey made of silk and trimmed with velvet. The bodice has a double row of decorative buttons. It would closure with hook and eyes but they are missing. It is lined with cotton. The skirt has two wide side panels made of velvet and a bustled back. It is lined with cotton. The dress is in good and study condition. There is mild underarm discoloration, a 1 inch split near the neckline and wear to the velvet on the collar and front dickey. The back of the skirt has some scattered soil marks. Bust 32 Waist 24 Skirt length 40.

From Me:

I really like this one. It would be a good one to copy and make into a steampunk outfit.
