This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Young Miss Edwardian Spring Dress
From the seller:
An ornate 1895 printed muslin dress. The fabric has a tiny Kelly green pattern on a pale gray back ground. The back ground color also has a white stripe pattern. The dress is lavishly adorned with beige lace and thin bands of Kelly green silk. The dress is also trimmed with Kelly green satin decorative buttons. The dress has a high neck lace insert and full leg of mutton style sleeves. It is unlined and has a back hook and eye closure. The dress is in good and sturdy condition. The high neck lace insert has a few small breaks. There are a couple of small pea size age spots and one dark spot on the bottom front hemline. There is some light soiling on the edge of the hemline. Bust 36 ½ Waist 28 Skirt length 38.
From Me:
The skirt would be just about ankle length. The puffy sleeves that lack the lower half are common around 1905/1906. The lack of a pigeon front would also put it around that time period.
