This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. Possible late 19th Century Busk

Very early hand carved corset busk, possibly 18th-19th century. Very rare and not often found! Possibly carved on a sailing ship? 8 inches in length.
From Me:
I'm really not sure this is a busk. 8" is pretty short and it doesn't look finished. If it is a busk, it looks like a spoon busk, which would put it in the 1880's.
