1920's Summer Dress

From the seller:

QUEEN OF THE FAIRIES ENCHANTS you with this charming cotton net 1920's era tambour embroidered net flapper dress. Note in the closeups how lovely the embroidery is with hundreds of french knots and little caterpillar spirals along side the padded satin stitches. The floral and vine motif tendril across the fabric on both bodice and skirt, front and back, look to all the photos below. The dress seems to be entirely hand made, all work stitched by hand including the french seams, the lace addition to the slip hemline and the tiny net bindings on the neckline, armholes and scalloped hemline. The dress has a tubular body with a gathered skirt at the hip with the hip seam covered with a wide pink double sided satin sash. The dress slips on over the head, no side opening. If you look closely you will see the dress has a built in net slip, or a second layer of net. Still the dress is slightly sheer, so you will need a slip. Something pretty from any era will do...Pink or off white or nude...... The dress is spotlessly clean, no stains, no underarm discoloration, no odors. No tears, no need of repairs. The dress is sturdy and wearable. I see no pin holes, no tears, nothing wrong, this is in excellent condition, see all the many large photos below... This is about a size 6 or so, the slip underneath is smaller than the outer bodice cause the outer bodice has some slight gathers so it will blouson, both measurements given below....Look to my store to see my other unique items.

From Me:

The seller took down a lot of the photos before I had a chance to post this beauty. However, you can still see, even in this one photo, how lovely this dress is.
