This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Edwardian Grey and Pink Bodice with Lace
From the seller:
Exquisite 1800's Victorian
French lace corsetted dress jacket w/ Paris label
Repurpose for antique doll clothing ~!
Please do not confuse my low starting bids with low quality items. vntgclothing trusts in the eBay bidding system and I believe the market will find the right prices. I get all of my items from high end, specialty estate auctions and private sales. I strive to bring my customers nothing but the finest in Victorian clothing & textiles. Thank you so much for looking and please be sure to add vntgclothing to your favorites!
This auction is for an exceptional collection of antique French lace beautifully applied to a once spectacular Victorian corset jacket. Still with it's
" Josephine " Paris France designer label sewn within. The silk body of this beautiful piece is totally shattered....both the ivories interior lining and the gorgeous exterior floral print silk, so you are buying this for repurpose or craft needs. Both sleeves from the upper ruching down can be used once cleaned. Tiny crochet lace buttons up each lace cuff. There are 4 gorgeous jet black velvet ribbon buttons with sparkling cut rhinestones that can be used. There is tons and tons of spectacular handmade French lace throughout the jacket to repurpose once cleaned. There are a total of ten sewn in corset stays and let's not forget the silk corset band with Paris France label. Certainly well worth my low starting bid for just the Paris label! One of my favrotie pieces of 1800's ladies Victorian clothing !
From Me:
This is a very sweet looking Edwardian bodice, not Victorian.
