This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Stunning Early Teens Era Dress
From the seller:
Quite sheer and romantic ivory colored dress, circa 1900-1920. This is a very small dress, and with the garment lying flat, the bust measures 17", and the waist measures 10". The dress is 53 1/2" long from the top of the shoulder. Material is netting and lace and features delicately embroidered florals and applied stylized flowers. Fastens up the back. While this is lovely, it is not without flaws, and you will find some small spots, holes, tears, fraying, soiling at the hem, etc. I showed some spots in the photos, but didn't show all. I did not wash, so some of the light spots may come out. This is perfect for display and will add a romantic touch to any room in your home or business. One other Edwardian dress listed this date; please see my other auctions.
