This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. Late 1860's/1870's Child's Bonnet

From the seller:

Antique silk lush velvet , with metallic trim , ribbons French doll bonnet ,big size, amazing royal blue color , good condition , 14" around face, 9" on neck , 6" deep.

From Me:

I really think this is from the 1870's but there are some styles similar to this in the very late 1860's as well.
