This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Blue Teens Era Day Dress
From the seller:
Up for auction is a vintage dress, guessing it was made around the 1910s. It fastens all the way up the front. The matching trim and buttons feel like velvet. For the most part its in good shape but will need some minor mending. The last few photos show the few holes. Theres mainly the one bigger hole near the bottom (second to last photo) and a little rip on the hem. The others are much smaller. My guess is that this is a small. Here are some measurements laying flat
Chest 17 1/2 inches
Waist 12 inches
Hips 20-21 inches
Shoulder to cuff around 19 inches
Shoulder down 53 inches
